Utitility/power companies across the globe are installing digital meters in consumers homes. These meters are known as SMART meters and are usually wireless. SMART meters are used for water, electricity and gas meterage.
The name Smart meter came about as these meters are said to give more accurate time of day readings, keep track of meterage closely from a remote distance (no need for someone to enter onto your property to read the meter), as well as has having the capabilities to perform other functions.
Many reports (Often paid for or compiled by the Industry promoting them) report – “There is NO possible health effect other than thermal or heating effects!
This basically means – If it doesn’t cook you – It is safe.
There has been a Growing Concern..
That Smart Meters are NOT as Safe as the Industry Claims.
Various studies (not compiled or paid for by the industry), and health complaints by consumers confirm the severe health effects smart meters cause.
In addition to transmitting in strong bursts, transmitting “smart” meters can also over-expose the general population to high frequencies by putting high frequencies on home and building wiring, by either…
- Deliberately through signaling, or
- Inadvertently through poor engineering.
These frequencies are known as radio frequency or microwave frequency and emit electromagnetic fields (electromagnetic radiation – EMR) into the environment. In the long term – This is potentially dangerous for everyone.
As time goes on more people are getting sick from these frequencies and/or developing a condition called, Electrosensitivy also known as Electromagnetic Hyper Sensitivity, EHS or Radio frequency sickness.
For those that already have this condition, extra exposure of electromagnetic frequencies from smart meters in/on the home can cause disability nearly immediately.
Added to the mix of technologies in your everyday life, that emit harmful electromagnetic frequencies are: cell phones, cell towers, electronic tablets, baby monitors, wireless computers, various childrens toys, and various other wireless gadgets that are rapidly emerging into the market place.
Smart meters are among the worst forms of over exposure to electromagnetic/microwave frequencies. For example – People are exposed to cell phone microwaves primarily in the head and neck. With smart meters, the entire body is exposed to the microwaves, which increases the risk of over-exposure to many organs.
Some of the Most Common Health Affects People Experience
After the Installation of a Smart Meter are:
- Confused thinking
- Dizziness
- Loss of balance – vertigo
- Severe headaches
- Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
- Elevated heart beats, missed heart beats
- Insomnia – Sleep disturbances
- Severe joint pain like arthritis
- Nathegic or feeling week
- Sore,weak and/or aching muscles for no apparent reason
- A vibration in the body
- Pressure in the head
- Pressure in the body
- Blood pressure changes
- Chest pain or a feeling of heaviness in the chest area
- A feeling of something shooting into the body (usually in the head) – This feeling can be a dull feeling for some but can also be a feeling of pain shooting into the body for others.
- Mood swings – Including Agitation, Restlessness, Anxiety & Depression
- Numbing and/or tingling of hands and/or feet
- Breathing difficulties
- Sore eyes and/or dry eyes
- Skin rashes
The above affects usually start to subside once the affected person removes themselves from this type of environment.
